The directors and shareholders of the company are, Paula Barclay and Carlton Barclay.

PAULA 

Paula completed her first degree in Management Studies in 1987 at The University of the West Indies and pursued her MBA at Barry University in Florida which was awarded in 1998. Among many other courses, she also completed The Leadership Journey at The Wharton Business School in 2006. She has been certified by Engage & Grow, Australia as a Team Engagement Coach as well as Certified as a Life Coach by The CAPP Institute, USA.

Paula is passionate about the development of individuals and has coached, mentored and trained many colleagues in the Financial Sector helping them to cross career obstacles and achieve successful lives. The achievements of those she has worked with, coached and trained are considered among her greatest and most fulfilling accomplishments. As a certified coach, in less than one year, she broke the ranks of Bronze level coach to double platinum for Engage and Grow, Australia.

Paula is goal oriented and driven, an accomplished leader with over 25 years of experience in the financial services sector locally and regionally.

Most of her experience was garnered in the GraceKennedy Group where she served for over 17 years. Her roles included Group Treasurer; Managing Director for First Global Leasing; General Manager, Chief Credit Risk Officer, Senior Vice President for Personal and Business Banking and Vice President for Corporate Banking at First Global Bank. At First Global Financial Services Limited she served in the Capacity of Vice President for Pension Fund Management and Vice President for Business Development. She also served on various boards and committees that governed the GraceKennedy group. 

Other experience – Vice President, Operations, Boslil Bank (St. Lucia); Assistant Vice President – Centralised Collections and Branch Manager – Citizens Bank Limited 

As a Coach, Paula belongs to a network of over 250 coaches worldwide who share a common vision and drive to create a globally engaged workforce, one employee at a time. She has access to programs which will improve staff retention, productivity and engagement levels and create business growth. 

Paula’s tenure in the financial services industry has given her invaluable knowledge, and experience in areas such as general management, training, strategic planning, talent development, recruitment, succession planning, leadership, credit management, receivables management, treasury management, sales and service management. 

CARLTON 

Carlton completed his MBA at the Ivy League Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, USA. He is a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) and a Fellow of the Association of Certified and Chartered Accountants (FCCA). He completed many other courses on strategic planning, finance and management as well as recently completing the Udemy Public Speaking Training and Facilitator Certification. 

Carlton is passionate about strategic planning and execution. His passion is to drive creative strategies into reality, executing critical projects against near impossible timelines without compromising quality, timeliness or serviceability. Taking businesses to new heights that they perhaps never contemplated, his interest goes beyond incremental changes, but leap bound changes that will catapult each company in its defined market space. 

His drive to generate results have been demonstrated in the goals he achieved while at the JN Group, The Republic Bank of Cayman’s and now in changing the profile of C&WJ Credit Union to become the largest credit union in Jamaica through a series of mergers. 

His over 25 years of experience in the banking and Finance Industry includes his current role as CEO of C&WJ Cooperative Credit Union, Deputy General Manager of JN Group, Managing Director of Republic Bank (Cayman) Limited, General Manager of the National Building Society of Cayman (NBSC), Deputy General Manager of Jamaica National Building Society Group (JNBS), Financial Controller (JNBS) and Assistant General Manager (JNBS). He was also the Financial Controller at Jamaica Citizens Bank (now Sagicor, formerly RBTT) as well as at Advantage General Insurance Company (formerly UGI) and, Accountant at KPMG Jamaica.

He is the former Chairman of the Caribbean Association of Banks Incorporated (CAB), the Strategic Planning and Advocacy Sub-Committees of CAB. Carlton is also the former Chairman of the Current Affairs Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (ICAJ); the former President of Kingston and St. Andrew Football Association (KSAFA) and a former Treasurer of the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF).

He has served on the Boards of the National Road Maintenance Fund of Jamaica and is a member of the Rotary Club of St. Andrew North.

Carlton’s expertise in managing domestic and international financial entities, created an opportunity for him to demonstrate his prowess as a financial strategist, results driven team leader, with keen and creative skills in product development.
